Modal Cotton
Modal cotton is a blend of cotton and modal, which is a type of rayon made from beech tree fibers. When modal is added to cotton, the result is a fabric that shrinks less, is softer to the touch and is more absorbent than fabric made from pure cotton. The addition of modal to cotton makes fabric silky, smooth, shine & comfortable.
Because of its silky feel, it comes into direct contact with the skin. However, even though modal is made from beech fibres, it is not considered a completely natural fiber. Although garment care instructions for modal cotton fabrics are similar to those for cotton fabrics.

Bamboo textile
Bamboo is becoming more and more popular. Because it grows so quickly, bamboo is an easily renewable resource. It requires 1/3 the amount of water to grow that cotton uses and has no use of pesticides or herbicides. Although organic cotton is readily available, there are still many pluses to using bamboo.
Bamboo fabric is very soft, often described as feeling like cashmere. This is because the bamboo fiber itself is naturally round and smooth without any chemical treatment. This means that there are no sharp spurs to irritate the skin. The softness and quality of the fabric itself seems to stand up to multiple washings. Many even describe the fabric as getting even softer with each washing
